Thumbnails done, pencils completed Now it’s time to stress Laura out! Something I haven’t really done well in is digital drawing. I have mostly done all my assignments traditionally but now I’m in my third year I need to do something different and even if I struggle I can get feedback from my lecturers, before I carry on doing something that might need a lot of work on.
I‘ve never really known how to work digitally until I came to uni when I really needed to start, if I was going to do this as a job. Throughout this module I have definitely felt better about my drawings but there are points that still need work such as how I use colour. From first year to second third year the work I have completed you can’t tell it was done by the same person. I have definitely improved but the thing I’m most worried about is making sure my digital drawing looks okay, and not odd like you can tell this person doesn’t really understand digital drawing. My understanding has improved but I think I need to stop being so hard on myself about it not looking the best. I just need to crack on and do the best I can.
WHAT I NEED TO WORK ON
1. Colour theory ( currently I’m only using flat colour as this is were I most comfortable at the moment) maybe by doing this assignment on my iPad and using colour I can get a better understanding of colour.
2. perspective ( I do sometimes struggle with some perspective but I depends on jow I want the image to look as sometimes the perspective being a bit off can give my drawing a bit more character.
